Swimming with wild dolphins in Marsa Alam is possible!
Sataya or Shaab Sataya or Dolphin house is a place where the opportunity to meet dolphins in their natural environment is very high! The trip will start in the early hours of the morning. You will be transferred from your hotel by minibus to the port of Hamata, located about 100 km south of Marsa Alam. The boat will leave the port at around 7.30am. It will take almost 2 hours to reach the location where dolphins appear most often. During this time, you can rest and relax on the boat. You can snorkel from the boat and admire the beautiful coral reefs, colourful fish and, of course, dolphins! The reef of the Dolphin, or Sataya, owes its name to the animals that are regularly seen here, including the friendly sea mammals, among others dolphins, oceanic whitetips and parrotfish. You can admire them at depths from 4m to 40m. Snorkelling equipment, lunch and drinks are included in the price of the trip. You will return to the port at around 4pm and then join your minibus transfer to the hotel.
