Abu Dabbab Moto Marine is an experience that combines both sea and desert trips! An excellent choice for everyone who loves the Sahara and the Red Sea and wants to get as much out of the experience as they can!
You will be collected from your hotel at around 9am on a minibus and travel to the resort organising the desert safari. There you will pick up your quads (four-wheeled motorcycles available for people over 16, younger ones with an adult on one quad). You will then drive for about 45 minutes across the desert towards the most famous bay in Marsa Alam, the Gulf of Abu Dabbab. This bay is called "Turtle bay". The quads will be parked just before entering the beach. You will get approx 2.5 hours on the beach and the opportunity to snorkel with a guide. You can admire the beautiful coral reef, numerous different species of fish, rays, moray eels and others, and after moving away from the shore (good swimming skills are needed here) you can find turtles and sometimes even sea cows (dugongs). After snorkelling, you will drive the quads back to the safari centre and return to the hotel by minibus at around 1.30pm. During the Abu Dabbab trip the moto marine is accompanied by an English-speaking guide. On the beach, there are additional paid activities for children.
The Abu Dabbab moto marine excursions include a small bottle of mineral water for each person, an admission ticket to the Abu Dabbab National Park, and support of an English-speaking guide during snorkelling.
Price: 70$ two on one quad (daily)
Children under 4 - free.
