Grand Aquarium

If you are not a lover of the open sea,  cannot swim or have small children, the best place to see the beauty of the fish from the Red Sea and beyond is the Grand Aquarium in Hurghada.

This property opened in 2015 and is divided into several parts: tropical forests, a mini zoo, freshwater fish & animals, saltwater fish & marine life and an exhibition of fossils. It houses over 100 fish & animals, which represents 1200 species, all of which are located in 3,500 sq metres of water.

You will spend 1.5 hour at the aquarium, where you will be amazed by the unique flora and fauna, tunnels that pass under water, and thunderflies that float above your heads. It is a great opportunity to take unique photos! 

Meet large, powerful sharks, turtles, octopus, rays and small fish, you can even find Nemo! Visiting times for the aquarium are from 11:00am to 05:00pm.

You can dive with sharks, rays and turtles at the Grand Aquarium in Hurghada! The experience costs $130 per person and lasts half an hour. Swimming must be reserved a minimum of 24hours before.
